Nazarenes United for Peace are a grassroots, worldwide movement of Nazarenes dedicated to the biblical call to be peacemakers and advocates for the poor, marginalized and vulnerable. We have no central organization and are not officially sanctioned by the Church of the Nazarene.
We seek to highlight the good work happening in peace and justice in the Church of the Nazarene. We also sometimes feature non-Nazarene voices. We do not necessarily endorse all that they say or teach, but hope that we can be in dialog with them and learn from one another.
Most importantly, we hope you know that you are not alone in your quest for a more peace-loving faith. While the dominant narrative may appear to be one of violence, parochialism, or nationalism, you’ll find many Nazarenes like you who are looking for a more faithful witness.
